After Bill Clinton’s potentially criminal polling place shenanigans on Super Tuesday, we posted details on it, including pictures and video.
Now it seems many people are trying to get those actions investigated. There are two petitions currently circulating to accomplish that:
Change.org has posted a petition that now has over 91,000 signatures towards a goal of 150,000.
There is also a petition through We The People to get the White House to look into it. If they get 100,000 signatures, the White House will at lease reply in some form.
If you agree that what Bill Clinton did in Massachusetts on Tuesday warrants, at minimum, an investigation, please consider signing one or both of the above petitions. Not that on the We The People petition, you need to verify your email address for your signature to count.
BuzzPo wrote about the Change.org petition:
Over 90,000 people have signed a Change.org petition calling for the “ immediate arrest of President Bill Clinton for clear, knowing and egregious violation of the campaign laws to swing an election in a significant way.”
Several Massachusetts voters have come forward claiming the former President Clinton entered polling stations in Newton, New Bedford and Boston on Super Tuesday and another woman posted a photo with him at a West Roxbury polling location that same day, The Boston Globe reports.
A document summarizing the state’s election day rules states, “A person standing within 150 feet of a polling location, including observers in the polling location, may not: hold any campaign sign; hand any person literature intended to influence the voter’s action at the polls; wear any campaign buttons or identifying signage; solicit a person’s vote for or against a candidate or question on the ballot; or, distribute stickers.”
While Clinton was not seen telling voters to vote for his wife, he was videotaped shaking hands and speaking with election workers.
The petition entitled, “Arrest & prosecute Bill Clinton for Violation of Mass. Election Laws” is aiming to receive 150,000 signatures.
The top comment on the petition which has over 600 “likes” reads, “I am 100 percent done with the cheating Clintons. They need to be stopped before they destroy our country. #BernieOrBust.”
Other popular comments echo those views, accusing the Clintons of being “criminals that deserve jail” and “not above the law.”
“We, the undersigned, respectfully ask that you honor the democratic process with all the dignity it deserves, and hold Bill Clinton accountable for the felony of his actions,” the petition concludes.
